Victoria Secret's Unretouched Photographs

This recent set of images of VS Angel Doutzen Kroes that was released by mistake in the Victoria's Secret website for a upcoming September catalog has rekindled the age old discussion of real beauty and heavy photo retouching. In my opinion these images are good to go and to be honest its refreshing to see raw commercial photographs of women and most specially the models of Victoria's Secret in a raw and unedited photograph.

Maybe I'm just lazy or this photographs are really good to go after tweaking the exposure on the skin just a bit and cloning away some of the blemishes. What do you guys think? I'd love to hear what you have in mind so bring those comments in.

Another issue is out and so as the year 2011 in a few weeks but before we plunge ourselves to all the merrymaking and gain extra pounds I'd like to share to you guys some snaps I took during our December/January issue shoot which happened at Blue Gardens (google it up!) with the beautiful and stunning Iza Calzado. So from this point on I'll stop talking and let the photos do their work.

Finally my very own shoot through umbrella system!

Check out my kicks! Okay let us not stray away from the topic.

Canndice and her new buddy.

Thank god for salary because I now have this! A shoot through umbrella that I have been craving ever since I started shooting fashion and portraits way back. I just wish I have more money to buy that 5-in-1 reflector but then again I need to save up for another flash and a receiver of course not to mention another light stand but yeah that will be later on once I got to master how to use this one.

Will upload some photos soon on my first ever commercial shoot since I have 200+ raw photos to process.
