I have been following Patrick Demarchelier's work since I first saw his photographs in a back issue of Vogue July 2011. I really love his work because the his images are always stunning and clean to the very last detail. After doing my bit of research I was awed to learn that he was able to worked with the great Henri Cartier-Bresson as well as Terry Gilbert while he was building up his career. With a client list that comprises some of the biggest names in the fashion industry, Patrick Demarchelier is one hell of a fashion photographer

I just got back from today's photo-shoot with awesome people and I can't express how much I had fun doing this. To be honest I still want to do shoots more often now since I had picked up a lot of stuff from watching other photographers whether in real life or in DVD and I am feeling inspired being able to apply it in these situations.
Just to share to you guys, I have here 2 unprocessed photos of our shoot today in my friend's commercial space.

Sun up to sun down, we shoot till we drop. I really had a great time working with Jelly, Kristine, Magu, Oko and Gerome because it didn't felt that we where working in the set for almost half a day not to mention the heat can probably drive you crazy! I really want to work on the photos but I still need to prepare for tomorrow's shoot and I need all the rest that I can get before I set out for another whole day of shooting. So I'll just leave you guys with those two beautiful photos of Kristine wearing Jelly's creations.

There are times I need to see to something quirky to get me through a uninspiring day —well technically its not that the day is uninspiring but maybe I'm just depressed or I'm having this bad case of hunger to create something.
One of my favorite quirky photographers is Mang Mang. She a gorgeous Shanghai based photographer who does this quirky and fun self-portraits of herself, exploring with different themes from feminine emotions to traveling through the dreamscape using a old luggage bag. She is trained to be an actress but instead of being one she just opened her photography and painting studio and started her fun and quirky series. Mang Mang does everything by herself from being the photographer to being the one designing the set.

| Yep this is Mang Mang and so is every person in the next photographs. |

I love taking photographs of women and to quote a colleague of mine "Women are more aesthetically pleasing than men." Which is true for me at the very least, maybe it is because of the curves or that look that they gave you or maybe its the way they do things.
For today we are going to celebrate the raw beauty of women with Henrik Purienne's work. Henrik Purienne is not just a photographer he is also the founder and editor of Mirage Magazine. I like the way his photos look because its gorgeous, simple and will make you want to see more. His work somehow reminds me of the movie Dazed and Confused which young, wild and carefree.

The 19th TransSpot Show
The 19th Transport Show was a total blast! It feature awesome automobiles from the vintage era to the future transportation held at the SM Megatrade Hall B in April 23-25 2010. The show not only showcases cars but also the hot women who promote either the cars or the products. Aside from that the car show not only showcased the awesome engines and alluring women but also the talented photographers sponsored by Caltex and The Digital Photographer they put up a photo competition in which audiences can submit 3 entries per category, the categories are Vintage Monochrome, Details and Human Interest. I too decided to join the Day 1 and Day 3 competition but it seems lady luck is not on my side but hey it was fun taking photographs of the event! I must say that I am looking forward to next year's TransSport Show but for now I will further widen up my knowledge about cars.
Here are some of my photos of the cars and girls taken at the event oh did I mention that I was present in the event for 3 days haha.
