Sunny Sunday Shoot.

Sundays are best spent resting from all that stress, smog and hassles of work but in my case I'd rather spend my sunny Sunday with my friends out in the sun taking their photos than sitting in front of the computer and just surfing the internet sipping Coke and eating more.

Yesterday's weather was nice and sunny with a touch of cool breeze so I head out to UP Diliman with Rejh, Carvs and Yvesse to do a shoot. A week before the shoot I asked Rejh and Yvesse if they could dress up as hippies and showed them some pegs for the shoot which I don't normally do but then again showing pegs makes things easier since I already know the look that I want and the poses that they should do. Armed with my ever loving camera Canndice with a 50mm 1.8 we wander the lush green scenery of the campus taking one photo after another. After shooting in UP Diliman we head out to LaMesa Eco Park for a change of scene but to our demise there were a lot of families picnicking and the sun was covered with lots of clouds so the lighting was pretty difficult since what I want is to capture a sunny, nature loving people but then again I was able to capture really nice photos in some areas and there we rested for quite a bit and head out to eat at Mister Kebab in West Triangle then we went straight home.

A big up to Rejh, Yvesse and Carvs for yesterday's awesome adventure.

Cheers!

September behind the scenes

Christmas commercially starts at September here in the Philippines the countdown before Christmas in evening news starts, Christmas jingles starts to fill the air, malls are planning Christmas promos even before they put up their Halloween decorations and somehow I am will now be giving out the mandatory "pamasko" to my little godsons and daughters (I think I have 5 godchildren already even before I graduate from college-wait I think high school it is) but let us save all that Christmas talk and let's go back to September.

Here are some of the behind the scenes photos during the shoot for our September issue at Camera Cart in Quezon City with Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee for our cover and Sir Erwin Barleta as our photographer.

So yeah, you guys do better check out the September issue of Gadgets which is out now and I assure you that we have prepared tons of awesome stuff inside to fill your latest buzz in the tech and lifestyle world.

Lost in Los Baños

I has been raining non-stop here in Manila and I have been really busy with work on the previous weeks and today is the only day that I got to update my blog and I am terribly sorry for that.

August 20, 2011 Rejh and I decided to do a shoot while roaming UP Los Baños and with the help of her friend in the office- Jhoiycze we roamed around the area and explored the Makiling Gardens. It was fun, tiring and awesome since I was doing a shoot and which I really miss and having to bond with my awesome friend. Aside from that we had one of the most mouth-watering inexpensive Siomais at Papu's and we had one of the most unforgettable cake in Los Baños- Mernel's Cake, sadly I forgot to take a photo of the cake while it is still intact and pretty.

It was fun to go somewhere far and get lost in the lush and beautiful scenery with friends and have sumptuous food. Thanks to Rejh and to her love- Karl as well as to Jhoiycze for the tour. :)

September is Coming.

Gadgets Magazine July Photoshoot.

It has been quite awhile since my last post and tons of awesome things happened during that time so I owe you guys a lot. Now, I will start it off by sharing to you guys that I have been working at Gadgets Magazine which is a local tech and lifestyle magazine as their graphic artist for two months now and I must say that I am having a great time working there since it was always one of my dreams to work in a magazine as a photographer, graphic designer and sometimes a writer, which is not going to happen anytime soon since I really have to work on my writing skills (right now I am not confident on how I used and placed those commas) but still I am living out one of my dreams.

During the course of my laziness to update this blog, the July issue of Gadgets came out and it is my great pleasure to tell you that it is the first issue that I have worked on and in a couple of days (or probably within a week) the August issue which is the anniversary issue of Gadgets is going to hit the bookstores and newsstands (I can't wait since I spent 4 straight days of going home really late). While waiting for the August issue to come out, let me share to you guys the behind the scenes of the July issue photo shoot at Secret Fresh in Ronac Art Center with the beautiful Jessy Mendiola as our cover girl, Sir Paul Ticzon the awesome photographer (I must say that I am a big fan of his works and seeing him work in the flesh is one experience that will stay etched in my memory) and Ms. Jo Ticzon the wonderful hair and make-up artist. The shoot was really awesome even though I was only there during the latter part of the shoot because I was in a meeting in Makati but judging from the outcome of the photos in the magazine it was fantastic and I couldn't wait till the next photo shoot with Sir Paul since I am eager to see his workflow.

So I will stop typing now because I am generally tired from staring at the screen for hours and get some sleep but I will leave you some photos during the shoot. :)

Cheers!
