Sincere Sibale and Vivid Philippine Fashion Week.

What's up? I've been keeping myself busy for the past few weeks because of our final exams and of course my thesis but thankfully I survived first semester though not that spectacularly but at least worth celebrating for the intoxicated sleepless nights and drenched days.

I have a lot to share to you guys but I bet that you'd rather hear it personally so I'll just show you some photos of my adventure in the wonderful island of Sibale (also known as Maestra De Campo) but be warned Sibale is not for the tech savvy chic or the city loving kids because the power supplies are only in the early morning and in the evening aside from that there is no nightlife in the island which is great because there is the real sense of peace and quiet, so if you are a the adventurer type or just some lost soul looking for a place to sit down and breathe in life then this place is for you.

On my way to Quebrada Beach in Mang Nimrod's boat  at dusk
Crows perched in mangroves are a common sight in Sibale not because the island is haunted but the diverse food source (fish, insects and fruits)  provide these Crows a good nourishment plus Sibale is part of a migration route for birds.

The port of Concepcion, Sibale's town proper.

A little girl enjoys poses after swimming in a makeshift walk way (made out of Ipil-ipil branches and bamboos) for the locals whose homes are on the other side of the town and for fishermen to dock their small boats after fishing.

I'll definitely miss Sibale and surely I will be back for more but I have to wait till summer where the weather is generally better.

Yesterday I head out to watch some serious and awesome catwalk action at the SM Mall of Asia for the Philippine Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2011 wherein it showcases the best of the best in the world of fashion and model. I got invites for the Jun Jun Cambe, Lito Perez's and LEEbertion shows. It was awesome, intense and mind blowing to watch so I suggest to you guys that you better watch next year's shows.

The crimson lady walks to dazzle the crowd leaving the women envious and the mean breathless. This one marks the start of the show and I must say that when I was there I feel overwhelmed of how the way she walks with her clothes, its unexplainable.

One of my favorite photos from the Jun Jun Cambe and Lito Perez show because I love how the image turned out even if the lights were low and I had to crank up my iso thus getting the image very noisy plus I have to use manual focus because my Sigma 70-300's AF mode is dang too noisy and haunts very much giving me no time to shoot, other than that I love the mystery, longing and sadness the model portrays. This model deserves a standi

Before I wrap things up
would like to raise my glass to all the people behind the show because I've experienced working on a fashion show before and it was not to be taken lightly. So to all the people who made PFW possible a toast for your wonderful and electrifying show.

Paradise to those who dared. ROMBLON.
